Building with Banao
The money for that milestone stays in escrow. The professional fixes the work and resubmits it. If you still disagree, report a dispute: your agent reviews it within 24 hours, can send an inspector, and releases only what was done correctly.
Money not yet released stays in escrow. Your agent sends a written notice, and if the contractor does not return, the rest of the work is re-tendered. The escrow you funded for unfinished work pays the new contractor, or is returned to you.
Yes. The tender total reflects current rates and quantities. Changes in rates or actual quantities can increase or decrease the overall price. Adjustments must be documented and agreed in writing before payment; escrow does not change automatically.
The contractor, under the contract you award, including a defects-liability period after handover. Banao keeps the inspection record that proves what was built.
Contractors are required to carry insurance and give a structural warranty, both stated in your contract. Banao does not insure the build itself.
Yes. The Contracts page has free, printable contracts, receipts, certificates and checklists in English and Urdu for property deals, design, construction and solar. Fill one in, print it or save a copy that works offline, sign it with the other person, and keep it. They are templates, not legal advice, so have a lawyer check anything large.
A member of Banao staff assigned to you when you start. They verify your plot, prepare bid documents, confirm your payments, arrange meetings and handle disputes. You never have to deal with a contractor directly.
By bank transfer to Banao’s account. The payment screen shows the account details; upload the transfer screenshot in your support chat and your agent confirms it, usually within one working day.
Yes. Architects, contractors and solar installers are reviewed by Banao before they can bid. Property listings are watched by Banao agents, who take down anything misleading. Professionals who break the rules get warnings and can be suspended.
Start a project and go through the Land & Plot checks with your agent. If you already have approved drawings, you can skip straight to the contractor tender.
Yes. With a construction consultancy plan, a site engineer inspects your build stage by stage and sends you a written report after every visit.
In two phases. Phase 1 is your details: where you are, the system you want and your roof. Phase 2 is the site assessment. Either a Banao inspector visits and measures everything (the safest route, for a fee shown on your request form), or you film the site yourself for free and enter your own measurements, such as usable roof area, obstruction clearances and the optimal tilt angle. Verified installers then quote against it.
Installers prepare their records and quotes from the measurements you submit, so any consequences of wrong figures, such as re-quoting, extra cost or delays, are yours. To stay on the safe side, choose the Banao inspector and let Banao handle it all.
Yes. In Settings, Security, you can see every browser or device that is signed in or remembered on your account, with its IP address and when it was last active, and sign any of them out.
Yes. Everything happens in your dashboard: your agent, video meetings, bids, payments, reports and, where a camera is installed, a live view of the site.
Phone numbers, emails and handles are removed from project chats and proposals automatically. Escrow only protects work agreed and paid for on Banao, so this keeps you protected.
Buying and renting property
Open Properties and filter by city, area, size, type, sale or rent, and budget. Every listing shows photos, the price, the exact location with directions, and nearby schools, hospitals and markets.
On a real estate consultant’s listing you choose: call or WhatsApp them yourself for free, or let a Banao agent handle the whole deal for you for a fee shown on the listing. The agent checks the papers, visits the property and deals with the seller for you.
Boli is open bidding on a listing. Anyone signed in can bid, and each bid has to beat the highest one so far. The listing shows the current highest bid, how many bids there are and when bidding ends. The poster can accept any bid.
You pay a non-refundable token of a small share of your bid, shown to you then, within a short time and upload the transfer receipt, which confirms you are serious. Bidding stays open meanwhile: if the token isn’t paid in time, your bid is dropped and the poster can accept another.
New listings were posted recently. Hot and Super hot listings are the ones people are viewing most right now. Sponsored listings are promoted by their poster. You can filter by any of these tags.
Listings go live as soon as they are posted, and Banao agents are notified of every new one and every change. A listing that is misleading is taken down, and after that every change to it waits for approval before it goes live again.
Listing your property
Register as a Real Estate Consultant, open Marketplace and choose “Post your property”. You see a live preview of the listing as you fill it in, and it goes live as soon as you post it.
Real estate consultants pay a monthly fee, shown in their dashboard. If it goes unpaid, their listings are hidden after a short grace period until it is paid; nothing is deleted.
Yes. Turn on Boli for any of your listings from My Listings, set when bidding ends, and accept the bid you want. The buyer then pays a non-refundable token to confirm.
