Hired your own architect and contractor? Banao watches the build for you. A site engineer inspects each stage against the drawings and specifications, and you get a detailed report after every visit, with every problem logged, who must fix it, and by when.

Bills of quantities, for clients and contractors
A bill of quantities (BOQ) lists every item of work and material in a set of drawings, so a build can be priced line by line instead of with a flat per-square-foot guess. Banao staff prepare BOQs for clients and for contractors.
- For clients: your agent prepares the BOQ as your contractor bid document, priced on your covered area. You approve it before any contractor sees it
- Every contractor bids on the same BOQ, so bids can be compared item by item
- For contractors: order a BOQ for any project's drawings, priced on its covered area, and price your bid against it
Solar installation
Solar quotes come in two phases. First, tell us your monthly bill or units (or the system size you want), your roof, backup needs and whether you want net metering. Then choose how your site is assessed: a Banao inspector handles it all, or you send a short video with your own measurements. Verified solar installers in your city then quote, and you compare them in your dashboard with your agent on hand.
- Phase 1 is your details; phase 2 is the site assessment, by a Banao inspector or from your own video
- Filming it yourself? Submit your usable roof area, obstruction clearances, tilt angle and other measurements: installers quote from them, so they are your responsibility
- Installers usually quote within 2 to 4 days
- Installation usually takes 1 to 2 weeks after you accept a quote
- On-grid, off-grid or hybrid systems, on flat, sheet or tiled roofs or ground-mounted
- Every installer is reviewed by Banao before they can quote
